I am someone who believes the more digital we become, the more we need to experience face to face meetings. As 2016 unfolds, I am focusing on How We Communicate (“HWC”) – the tools, apps, platforms, services, infrastructure and visions that are changing the way humans interact. From the perspective of communications, I’m looking at one to one, one to many and many to many communication platforms as well as the way we can improve the ways which we connect and listen to ourselves. The HWC conferences will cover multiple disciplinary perspectives and I am looking forward to curating these events. The first conference, the Pulver HWC Summit, will be an intimate gathering of people who have been and who are involved in the future of the communications industry. Our summit will be taking place in Silicon Valley on May 18-19. The “Call for Speakers” is now open and if you are interested in sharing your voice, please visit: this link to apply to speak. The deadline for submissions is: March 11th.
Let’s talk. I’m at the early stages for the planning of these events and I am looking for: speakers, exhibitors and sponsors to help manifest my new conference series. I am looking to bring back members of the VON community together with those who have entered the communications industry since we last met. To kick things off, I am heading to Silicon Valley, and on February 18th I will be hosting a networking breakfast in San Jose. If you will be in the Bay area, I hope you will consider joining me. RSVP and details can be done here. In early April I will be returning to Boston to host a similar networking breakfast. Details will be updated and shared on PulverHWC.
For my friends in the New York City area, I am hosting my next New York City Networking breakfast on February 12th in honor of my friend Mel Rosenberg who will be visiting from Tel Aviv. RSVP details can be found here.
I am feeling good about the direction of the Pulver HWC events. I am especially looking forward to catching up with some friends I have not seen in a number of years.
Hope your 2016 is off to a great start!
Warm hugs, Jeff
